Claude PERRARD Champagne is born from a passion passed down from father to son since 1911. Since then, several generations of champagne winegrowers have followed; today, Frédéric and Jean-Pierre PERRARD continue this tradition.

Claude PERRARD Champagne remains a witness to an extraordinary terroir, with wines of character, endowed with a beautiful roundness and complex aromas.

The grape varieties cultivated are Pinot Noir, as well as Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.

The oceanic and continental climate is beneficial for the AOC Champagne vineyards. The average annual temperature is 11 °C and rainfall is 650 mm per year. Furthermore, the Maison Perrard vines benefit from the best sun exposure (south/south-east). The grapes ripen during this phase, perfectly suited to the freshness of our Champagnes. Finally, our clay-limestone soil imparts the unique character of this terroir to our grape varieties, giving our wines roundness and distinctive character.

The grape ripening process is carefully managed to preserve natural acidity, a key element of the freshness and balance of Perrard Champagnes. This involves a careful selection of plots, appropriate harvest dates, and winemaking techniques that enhance this freshness. Finally, the clay-limestone soil imparts the typicality of this terroir to the vines, transmitting all their roundness and character to the wines.

The vineyards are located around Rouvres-les-Vignes, a charming village home to many small houses in the Aube department in the eastern part of the French Côte des Bar.
Jean Pierre Perrard is one of those propriétaire récoltants who vinify their own estate-grown grapes.

The Claude PERRARD estate also brings its own personal touch to the Champagne. This is a recipe passed down through the family for generations.

Claude PERRARD Brut Rosé Champagne is born from a blend of Pinot Noir and Coteaux Champenois, the so-called “hillside wines”.

These still wines have been selected and blended to create an interesting balance.
You will not be able to resist their elegance and freshness.

Claude PERRARD Brut Rosé Champagne, with its splendid salmon-pink colour, offers aromas of almonds and notes of red fruits. The soft and generous palate provides roundness without being overly vinous, maintaining a certain freshness on the finish.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Pale straw yellow with golden-amber reflections, fine and persistent perlage.

Taste: Fresh, creamy, soft, enveloping, decisive and with excellent persistence.

Aroma: Intense, broad, complex, notes of citrus dried fruit, touches of dried apricot and quince.

This champagne pairs perfectly with white meats.
It also pairs beautifully with fish dishes; goat cheeses are also an excellent match.
