Barolo Brunate Vietti 2020
From the historic Brunate vineyard in La Morra—located on the southern slope facing Barolo—featuring a planting density of 4,600 vines per hectare across a 1.6-hectare site.
The vines are approximately 43 years old. The soil is calcareous-clay. Fermentation involves 23 days in steel tanks in contact with the skins, comprising 3 days of cold pre-fermentation maceration followed by 18 days of fermentation and post-fermentation maceration at temperatures between 30°C and 32°C.
Daily pump-overs with aeration are performed using the traditional “submerged cap” technique. Malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques.
