PIERRE BERTRAND
Maison Pierre Bertrand is located in Cumières, 2 kilometers from the Abbey of Hautvillers where the monk Dom Pérignon lived, an illustrious character from Champagne.
The slopes of Cumières and Hautvillers are part of the “Coteaux Historiques”, classified in 2015 by UNESCO, in the Remarkable Sites category.
The territory of Cumières is relatively small, ie 300 hectares; it is covered in 85% of vines that borders to the North, the forest. In the South, the river Marne limits the village.
The vinification is done, partly in oak barrels. Its discreet woody makes it an elegant and refined Champagne.
Chardonnay gives its liveliness and freshness.
CHAMPAGNE PRESTIGE
Blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, selected from old vines, in equal parts. After bottling, this cuvée remains for a minimum of 6 years in the cellar.
Complex and broad palate. This champagne is revealed in a sublime accord that plays on presence and finesse.
At the end of the meal, it will last pleasantly an exceptional moment.
