Richard DHONDT Champagne Grand Cru Millésime 2017
The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes were fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in oak barrels.
It is vinified as a great wine. An excellent value for such quality.
This champagne is the expression of the Maison Richard-Dhondt style and is obtained exclusively from Grand Cru grapes from “Ay” and “Chouilly”, undergoing “elevage” in fût de chêne. A complex Grand Cru champagne with high potential for evolution.
Food and wine pairing time
With a brilliant golden hue and fine perlage, it immediately captivates with its class and vivacity.
Rich and intense, as well as perfectly balanced between roundness and tension, concentration and elegance, with a vigorous juicy and dry progression marked by mineral and citrus notes. A complex and sophisticated champagne, yet immediately enjoyable.
Pairings
Ideal as an aperitif, perfect with raw seafood dishes.
