Produttori del Barbaresco is not only a winery – it is a way of life. It started thanks to the vision of a priest in a little village, a collaboration between friends and families who understood that together they could make something greater than what they could ever hope to achieve as individuals.

The Produttori del Barbaresco, founded in 1958, now has 51 members and controls more than 100 hectares (250 acres) of premium Nebbiolo vineyards in Barbaresco. Each family is in full control of its land, growing Nebbiolo grapes with centuries old skill and dedication. The vinery produces a Barbaresco D.O.C.G., a blend of Nebbiolo grapes harvested from different vineyards, and a simpler Nebbiolo Langhe suited for earlier consumption.

BARBARESCO RISERVA MUNCAGOTA

Vinification: fermentation at 30°c (85°f), 28 days of skin contact time , malolactic, completed
Ageing: 36 months in large oak barrels and 12 months in bottles
Vineyard character: elegant, intense wines with a refined floral bouquet and firm tannic finish
Longevity: 20 years from the vintage
Food matches: fresh egg-pasta dishes, risotto, white and red meat, game, venaison

• Scent: Complex, intense and floral, with notes of violets, small red fruits, leather and sweet spices
• Taste: Intense, rich, elegant and structured, with a fresh, fine and pleasantly tannic soul
