Founded in 1906, Nervi is the oldest winery in the Gattinara DOCG area. The porphyry and clay rich vineyards cover 28.5 hectares of Nebbiolo vines at the Alpine foothills of Monte Rosa, in steep, south facing slopes. True to the area’s tradition, they prune and harvest by hand and make fine red wine using large oak casks for both fermentation and aging. In 2011 four Norwegian families, joined by their passion for wine and viticulture, bought the estate. The chief oenologist Enrico Fileppo ensures adherence to tradition with 30 years of Nervi winemaking experience and many award winning vintages.

IL ROSATO

Rosé wine made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, with a light color and a sugary residue that makes it pleasantly fresh and suitable for any summer dish.

-Tasting notes-

Soft pink. The nose is expressed with dominant hints of citrus and floral notes. On the palate it is rich and vibrant; pleasant freshness and excellent final cleaning.
