GUY BRUNOT CUVÉE GRANDAGE Champagne 2012

The family-run Champagne house Brunot is located in Dizy, a charming village situated 4 km from Epernay in the Vallée de la Marne, in the heart of Champagne.

It is a family estate founded in 1957, now in its third generation with Nathalie Brunot and her husband Achim.

The house’s champagnes are characterized by harmony, smoothness and accessibility. While remaining faithful to tradition in their product range and label design, Nathalie and Achim constantly refine the quality and style of their champagnes with passion and respect for nature.

The estate’s vineyards are located in Dizy. There are 4 hectares of vineyards classified as “premier cru” where the three grape varieties authorized for champagne production are grown (Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay).

All stages of cultivation, harvest and vinification are carried out by the Brunot family. This is reflected in the quality of the cuvée production. For Brunot, it is indeed very important to preserve traditional working methods. All bottles still undergo remuage and dégorgement by hand!

They therefore define themselves as récoltants-manipulants.
Since November 2020, they are proud to also be members of the Fédération des Vignerons Indépendants et certifiés (federation of independent and certified winegrowers), thus obtaining HVE “High Environmental Value” and VDC “Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne” certification.

The production of Cuvée GrandAge is approximately 300 bottles/year!!!

CUVÉE GRANDAGE Champagne 2012

The vintage currently in stock is 2012.

Ten years of maturation on the lees in the cellars make this champagne rare. It is the result of a harmonious blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. All grapes from the Premier Cru terroirs of Dizy and Hautvillers.

Woody and honeyed notes on the nose, candied fruit aromas on the palate and a voluminous texture: this is the pinnacle of an exceptional cuvée to be enjoyed on special occasions.

Each capsule is UNIQUE because it is numbered and marked with the printing date (one color per year).
