DOMAINE BOURGOGNE DEVAUX Bourgogne Rouge Hautes Côtes de Beaune Pussey 2021
DOMAINE BOURGOGNE DEVAUX
In 1899, Théodore DEVAUX, built the first buildings on the estate.
In 1946, Alexandre DEVAUX, accompanied by his wife Marie-Louise DEVAUX, took over the family business. In the 1960s he purchased some vineyard plots in Pommard and developed direct bottle sales.
In 1986, his daughter Sylvie BOURGOGNE-DEVAUX took over the estate but sold the grape production to third parties. In 2012, under the guidance of his two sons, Fabrice and Luc, the Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune was vinified, thus rediscovering the satisfaction of sharing the family passion for wine.
In 2013, in addition to the Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune, part of the Pommard grapes were vinified: thus the cuvée “Les Vignots” was born.
In 2014 the entire harvest was vinified on the farm.
The estate currently manages 4.10 hectares of land (3.42 hectares of Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Beaune Rouge and 0.68 hectares of Pommard).
