KURTATSCH CORTACCIA PENON-HOFSTATT Pinot Bianco 2024. The PENON-HOFSTATT Pinot Bianco is part of the “TERROIR” line, the premium range of Cantina Kurtatsch. Through meticulous and precise vinification of individual parcels, it reflects the exceptional potential of the Cortaccia vineyards.

THE VINEYARD LOCATION

The Pinot Bianco vineyards are located above the village of Cortaccia. Refreshing evening downslope winds create significant temperature differences between day and night, producing an ideal, well-ventilated microclimate.

The Hofstatt site is among the coolest vineyards in Cortaccia and features slopes so steep that work can be carried out almost exclusively by hand – a true example of heroic mountain viticulture.

Many walls of old houses and dry stone walls still reveal the rich mineral structure of dolomite, quartz, mica and clay minerals that give PENON-HOFSTATT the character of an extraordinary wine. In the glass it presents delicate apple and pear fruit, ripe lime and lemon verbena.

KURTATSCH CORTACCIA PENON-HOFSTATT Pinot Bianco 2024. On the palate, subtle notes of alpine flowers and aromatic herbs emerge. Thanks to aging in large wooden casks, the wine develops a soft texture that balances the vibrant acidity.
