LA SPINETTA Bordini Barbaresco 2023
LA SPINETTA
A premier winery in the Langhe and Asti regions, La Spinetta was founded in 1977 by Giuseppe and Lidia Rivetti.
However, as early as 1890, Giovanni Rivetti had emigrated to Argentina. He dreamed of finding his fortune and later returning to his homeland to become a great wine producer.
His son Giuseppe made that dream a reality. He purchased the first vineyards and began producing Moscato d’Asti, a simple, light wine to be enjoyed with desserts. In the following years, the Rivetti family began a successful production of red wines, Barbera and Barbaresco in particular, culminating in 2000 with the creation of one of the most prestigious Barolos on the market, the Campè.
All La Spinetta wines are the result of meticulous work with the region’s indigenous varieties. This journey begins in the vineyard and continues only minimally in the cellar.
The philosophy is that to achieve great results, 90% of the effort must be focused on the land, with only the remaining 10% dedicated to winemaking and aging.
