Tanneux Mahy La Roche d’Aunis Blanc de Noirs
TANNEUX MAHY
The history of Champagne Tanneux-Mahy is first and foremost a human story, each contributing its own contribution to the exploitation. From father to son, our pleasure is to share a know-how with lovers of Champagne.
André Tanneux and his wife Micheline Mahy take over the business. Together, they create Champagne Tanneux-Mahy, increase the surface area exploited and in a turbulent context, participate in the creation of the Mardeuil cooperative.
Shown as an example, the vines of Champagne Tanneux-Mahy, obtain the diploma of the most beautiful vine in 1953, 1954, 1955 and are classified out of competition in 1956.
NOW: Katia and Christophe – 2009
The first change is your welcome, which is always done with the same pleasure but in a new room located opposite the farm at 2, rue Jean Jaurés.
The objectives: Extension of the Cellar, perseverance in reasoned culture with the grassing of more and more vine plots, to go more and more to meet you and first of all, to develop Champagnes in the line of our predecessors with the slogan passed down from father to son for 4 generations: Quality!
LA ROCHE D’AUNIS BLANC DE NOIRS
Tasting comments: This is a balanced champagne, round and dominated by fruit. This blanc de noir has a sharp attack in which the white peach emerges then a dense, fleshy evolution to finish on spicy notes.
Tasting advice: 30 minutes in an ice bucket and go !!
This bottle with many nods to the land of Aunis and the city of La Rochelle is dedicated to lovers of this “corner of France”.
