Roberto Voerzio Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata 2019
Vinification
The ruby red color of Barolo DOCG of the Annunziata by Roberto Voerzio has marked garnet reflections given by the long aging period. The high concentration of glycerin appears evident in the glass, the alcohol content reaches 14.50% vol. Fragrances of fruit are mixed with floral nuances and intriguing and atypical hints. In the mouth it is robust, full-bodied; in one sip the evolutions of tannins come back to mind and tend to soften during long aging. A finish of remarkable persistence.
Suggested pairings
Wine for dishes with important preparations based on grilled lamb meat, pecorino cheese and Apulian scaldatelli taralli. Rototolo with mushrooms, pumpkin and baked potatoes; Handmade orecchiette with autumn vegetables (turnip greens, broccoli, dark cabbage …) stew with meat and potatoes, aubergine parmigiana, dried eggplant rolls, excellent with dried fruit.
