Nebbiolo PRODUTTORI DEL BARBARESCO 2022
This wine is produced every year by the Produttori del Barbaresco; it ranges from 10 to 30% of the total production depending on the quality of the vintage (the better the vintage is the less Nebbiolo is produced).
It is a second label for the Barbaresco and it is made with the grapes from young vines or those vineyards that produced a less intense and concentrated juice. It still has the quality necessary to be classified a Barbaresco, but the Winery declassifies it in order to sell it at a younger age and maintain the Barbaresco quality as high as possible.
Full body vintage, ripe intense red fruit and spicy notes of white pepper and anice.

Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo
Vineyards: various vineyards in within the appellation
Vineyards size: grapes selected from 100 hectares (250 acres) of estate owned vineyards
Vineyards exposure: south, west, east
Soil: limestone and clay, rich in calcium with sandy veins
Vinification: fermentation in in stainless steel tanks at 28°C (83°F), 20 days on the skins, pumping over twice a day, malo-lactic completed
Ageing: 5 months in large oak barrels
Total production: approx. 140,000 bottles (12,000 cases)
Vintage: medium body vintage, ripe red fruit and spicy notes of white pepper and anice
Longevity: 5 – 8 years from the vintage
Vineyard owners: 54 growers
Food matches: pastas and pizzas, white and red meat, spicy vegetables dishes
