The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Poggio Landi wine comes from a monovarietal selection of the best Sangiovese grapes from the vineyards of the Poggio Landi estate located between 180 and 500 meters above sea level.
Aged for 38 months in French oak barrels and aged in the bottle for at least 6 months, this Poggio Landi Brunello di Montalcino is an intense and elegant wine that best expresses the characteristics that make Brunello one of the most prestigious and appreciated wines in the world.
BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO
Vinification, fermentation, refinement and ageing
After two weeks of natural and spontaneous fermentation, the wine is decanted into French oak barrels, where it will age for 38 months. Subsequently aged in bottle for at least 6 months.
Color ruby red tending towards garnet.
Notes of red berry fruit wrapped in a light spiciness of black pepper and licorice.
The taste is complex with distinct hints of ripe red fruit and spices. Furthermore, this wine is particularly persistent.
