LA SPINETTA
La Spinetta is today one of the most important wineries in Piedmont, a real point of reference for the production of Barolo and Barbaresco. This family-run business was founded in 1977, when Giuseppe Rivetti, known as “Pin”, decided to move to the top of the hill of Castagnole Lanze, called La Spinetta, after his marriage.
It was here that Giuseppe began to experiment with a traditional sweet wine of Piedmont, Moscato. Since then many strides were made and the focus of production was dedicated to the production of red wines, with the birth of the first Barbareschi in the mid-90s. Since then, the rise of the La Spinetta winery has been continuous; so much so that the great successes led the property to expand beyond the Piedmontese borders, pushing into Tuscany, where 65 hectares between Pisa and Volterra were purchased in 2001. Today La Spinetta is expertly managed by Giorgio, Bruno and Carlo Rivetti, members of a family that has made hard work the secret of its success.
La Spinetta extends over about 100 hectares of vineyards, acquired over time with great care. The vineyards enjoy excellent exposure to the south, south-east and south-west, and the vines are all between 35 and 65 years old, ideal for producing expressive and compact wines.
CAMPÈ BAROLO
Regal, complex, harmonious
A complex and majestic Barolo, with an aromatic profile that ranges from rose petals to plum and black berries, leading up to white truffles and underbrush. The tannic structure is solid and harmonious, with a full and mighty finish.
-Vinification-
Maceration and alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled vats for an average period of 14-15 days. Malolactic fermentation done in French oak barrels, of which 20% is new and the remaining in used (2nd passage) followed by 24 months of aging. Finally, bottle-aged for at least 12 months.

- Scent: Intense, elegant and mineral, of black fruits, Mediterranean scrub, balsamic herbs, licorice, earth and wild spices
- Taste: Powerful, structured and complex, with an elegant freshness and an endless persistence
