BARBARESCO STARDERI

Barbaresco “Starderi” by La Spinetta is an intense, structured and deep red wine, born from the homonymous cru and aged for 22 months in barrique. It has an austere and mineral olfactory profile, with nuances of roots, woody herbs and berries jam. On the palate is powerful and structured, with soft tannins

Vineyards: From Starderi cru in Neive, middle age of the vine of 55 years, rooted in a calcareous soil faced to South at 270 m above sea level. With no use of herbicedes or pesticides

Winemaking: Alcoholic fermentation in steel with maceration on the skins for 7-8 days and malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. No filtrations

Aging: 22 months in medium-toasted barriques

Colour: Ruby red tending to garnet

Scent: Deep, intense and mineral, with notes of blackberries in jam, roots, incense and sweet spices

Taste: Rich, complex, powerful and structured, with smooth and silky tannins
