BOLLINGER La Grande Année Champagne 2007 Magnum
BOLLINGER La Grande Année Champagne 2007 Magnum
MAISON BOLLINGER
A family atmosphere pervades over the House Bollinger, one of the last family and independent houses in Champagne. In the village of Aÿ, home of Champagne Bollinger, you may encounter some of the winemaking team rolling barrels over cobblestones. As you make your way into Madame Bollinger’s house or down the alleys in the cellars, past and present blend.
CHAMPAGNE LA GRANDE ANNEE
“Grande Année” Champagne by Bollinger is a full-bodied and intense vintage Champagne, with great elegance and complexity.
You can already guess from the name: this Champagne is produced only in great vintages, the special ones that can translate into something exceptional.
There is a lot of foresight and a lot of passion in the Maison Bollinger which, not surprisingly, is known in every corner of the world.
Winemaking and ageing
This iconic champagne is subject to a fermentation entirely in barrels and an ageing time that is twice as long as enforced by the appellation.
Tasting notes
- Colour: the wine displays a beautiful maturity through its lovely golden colour.
- Nose: indulgent, the nose combines fragrances of roasted nuts with notes of yellow and dried citrus fruits.
- Palate: full-bodied, the palate seduces with its aromatic profile, where aromas of honey and candied lemon are elevated by a fresh finish with a delightful bitterness.
