The 2014 Barbaresco by Pio Cesare shows an immediate sense of sophistication that comes through, thanks to the nuanced and evolved nature of the fruit.

Dried cherry and wild rose are characteristic of the Nebbiolo grape, and you get grilled herb and balsam herb at the back.

This classic Barbaresco also shows tones of smoke and crushed mineral. This wine offers immediate drinking pleasure.

Some 30,000 bottles were produced.
