Collepiano Sagrantino di Montefalco

Variety: 100% Sagrantino First vintage produced: 1979
Training Techniques: Spurred cordon with planting density of 6,000 plants per hectare.
Aging:22 months in French oak barriques and at least 6 months in bottle.
Aroma: blackberry jam, pepper, clove and vanilla, a balsamic note and a touch of talcum powder
Taste: powerful and elegant at the same time, great tannins that make you think about the future
Serving suggestions: roasted meat preferably with a good fat content, stews and game. Serve at 18-20 °C
