Surrounded by greenery, magnificently situated on a gravelly ridge just a few kilometers from Pauillac, Château Peyrabon emerges suddenly among perfectly aligned rows of vines.

In the heart of the Médoc, Château Peyrabon stands among the vineyards. A tree-lined avenue of vines leads to this magnificent Renaissance-style building. This art form, originating in Italy, gradually spread throughout Europe. In France, it was discovered during battles against Italy in the 16th century.

A wooded park surrounds the building, where centuries-old magnolias (planted during its construction) thrive. They are putting the finishing touches on the décor of this château rich in history.

In September 2022, the Castéja family acquired the property from the Millésima group. With this acquisition, the Castéja family, already owners of several estates in Pauillac and the Haut-Médoc, including the renowned Château Batailley and Château Lynch-Moussas, both classified as Fifth Growth, intends to continue and expand the development of this property, drawing on their viticultural and commercial expertise.

The estate’s flagship wine, Château Peyrabon, reveals all the typicity of a Cru Bourgeois from the Haut-Médoc in a wine that seduces with its sumptuousness and generosity, showcasing notes of ripe black fruit. Its structure and richness are the hallmarks of the great wines of the appellation.
CHATEAU PEYRABON Bordeaux Haut-Médoc 2019. Château Peyrabon ages for an average of 14 months in French oak barrels, 25% of which are new. Present in varying proportions from year to year, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot dominate the blend. Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot complete the composition.

On the palate, Château Peyrabon presents bright, vibrant fruit and refined oak. The wine reveals a powerful structure with well-defined tannins, perfectly balanced by the presence of vibrant, energetic fruit that evolves harmoniously on the palate.
