ANTICA CASA VINICOLA SCARPA Tettineive Barbaresco
Antica Casa Vinicola Scarpa
A winery that for over a century and a half has rigorously continued production with a profound territorial identity. Throughout its history, it has hosted personalities fundamental to defining the profile of quality wine in Monferrato, Barbera first and foremost. The great solidity achieved also under the new management of this historic estate, capable in the past of writing some of the most important pages of Asti Barbera and today of starting anew and finding further momentum, delights us. We believe the sector needs entities capable of bringing interpretative skill and sharpness of vision. In recent years we have witnessed the acquisition of new vineyards: Monvigliero (Barolo) and Cottà (Barbaresco). Today Scarpa is a brand that has returned to populate the wine lists of important restaurants and the cellars of passionate drinkers like ourselves. Recently hosted for a tasting of bottles from glorious vintages from Bogliona to Rouchet to the highly sought-after Tettimora and Tettineive.
