PRODUTTORI DEL BARBARESCO
In 1958 nineteen partners founded the cooperative in the castle of Barbaresco, under the guidance of the great Novello Cavazza, pioneer and discoverer of the vine and of the crus of Barbaresco. Today the winery is run by Aldo Vacca and Gianni Testa and has a hundred hectares of Nebbiolo in the Barbaresco, brought a dowry of fifty historic cooperative members.
The great quality of the wines, of strict classical expression, it is really flawless: this is because all the cooperative members have undertaken together a training process that has led the cooperative to establish very strict rules, especially with regard to the treatment plant, which must be made with pre-established products.
BARBARESCO RISERVA RABAJA
Soil:Â calcareous limestone with sandy veins
Vinification: fermentation at 30°c (85°f), 32 days of skin contact time, malolactic completed
Ageing:Â 36 months in large oak barrels and 9 months in bottles

- Colour: ruby red tending to garnet
- Scent: high-quality blend of fruity notes of plum, cherry and raspberry and spice and tertiary
- Taste: intense and complex, with good tannins and with a long persistence
