BARBARESCO Gallina Riserva 2019
- Vinification in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 15–18 days.Aged for 20 months in 25-hl Slavonian oak barrels and 15 months in 5–7 hl French oak barrels, followed by 6 months in bottle.
Ruby red color tending towards garnet, enveloping and complex aromas with spicy notes of licorice, pepper, leather, and rose. On the palate, it is full-bodied and austere, with remarkable harmony and balance; a wine of aristocratic substance.
