Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2012 Riserva Ripe al Convento

Ripe al Convento 2012  is an intense ruby-red with barely perceptible highlights tha are almost garnet in tonality. The nose is characterised by notes of blackberry which quickly leave in their place intese and pleasant sensations of ground hazelnuts , rhubarb, and Cuban cigar; then spicy notes emerge of black pepper, cardamom and walnut, followed by fresh notes of thyme, tea leaves and juniper.

Entry on the palate is imperious, characterised by a dense and elegant structure well supported by generous, full body. The finish is markedly long and balanced.
