The “Poderi Aldo Conterno” winery is situated in Bussia of Monforte d’Alba which is the heart of the Barolo wine area.

BARBERA D’ALBA CONCA TRE PILE
Barbera d’Alba “Conca Tre Pile” by Aldo Conterno is a red full bodied Piedmont wine from Langhe, especially from a steeply sloping part of the Bussia Soprana hill in Monforte d’Alba.
The “Conca Tre Pile” is a hilly area in Bussia Soprana whose main vines are Barbera’s with vineyards having a maximum age of 45 years.
VINEYARD: Conca Tre Pile in Bussia (Monforte d’Alba).
VINIFICATION: red, with skin contact inside stainless steel vats. (from 24 to 26 degrees centigrades.)
VINIFICATION TIME: the must stays on contact with the skins for about 8 to 10 days.
CELLAR REFINING: the new wine after a few months inside stainless steel vats, is put in oak casks where it remains a few months.
Tasting notes
- Colour: Ruby red
- Scent: Earthy, savory, wither violet , vanilla, mature cherry, berries fruits and peach skin
- Taste: Clean, dry, full-bodied with noticeable silky tannin
