GIUSEPPE RINALDI Barbera d’Alba 2023
THE ESTATE – GIUSEPPE RINALDI
The Giuseppe Rinaldi estate of Giuseppe and Marta Rinaldi was established in 1890.
In the 1800s, the family patriarch Battista was a farmer who cultivated some of the vineyards of the Marchese Falletti di Barolo. After becoming the owner of a small estate, he began selling the grapes produced and, with his sons, started winemaking. The family tradition of the estate has been passed down from father to son to the current owners Giuseppe and his daughter Marta.
The Vineyards
The family’s vineyards include the most renowned crus of Barolo: Brunate, Cannubi-San Lorenzo and Ravera. Giuseppe has always been a profound connoisseur and staunch defender of the Barolo territory. This knowledge translates into classic, profound wines capable of aging magnificently while expressing the terroir in which they were born.
Following Giuseppe’s untimely passing, his daughter Marta, a qualified oenologist from the Alba school, is gradually taking the reins of the estate; young, therefore, but with extensive experience in the cellar and vineyards, having always followed her father in his work.
Today, as in the past, the vineyards located in the prestigious crus of Barolo are managed with the utmost naturalness and rigorous respect for the environment. A management approach born from a deep connection to the territory and its traditions, never forgetting the fundamental importance of farming culture.
Giuseppe Rinaldi represents one of the most important and established names in the world of Barolo, a name that has confirmed year after year the skill of an authentic champion. A crystalline talent. A name that has entered the select circle of producers loved and appreciated throughout the world, becoming a proud ambassador of Made in Italy and its land.

GIUSEPPE RINALDI Barbera d’Alba 2023. The Giuseppe Rinaldi Barbera d’Alba is young and fresh with vibrant acidity that supports the wine during aging.
- The tactile sensations are pleasant, as is the nose, where notes of dried violet and undergrowth emerge.
- Captivating and forthright palate with a slightly bitter finish.
Pairings
Exceptional pairing with cured meats and cheeses. An enjoyable wine for a snack, also excellent with grilled meat or beef carpaccio.
