This adventure began in the 1980s with Marco Caprai, Arnaldo’s son. He was the first to believe in the richness of Sagrantino. He therefore decided to reinterpret it in a modern key, using the most innovative production and winemaking methods.

Among this winery’s great products, the Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG “25 Anni” is undoubtedly its most iconic wine, acclaimed by wine guides. This wine has demonstrated the potential of this noble grape, complex and powerful, capable of aging for over twenty years.

A great winery, Arnaldo Caprai, has a green soul. Indeed, sustainability, environmental protection, and conservation are considered fundamental. The focus remains the same: to strive to operate in harmony with natural evolutionary cycles, preserving and enhancing the local area in which we operate. Therefore, the company has decided to create an Environmental Management System compliant with international regulations, developing a voluntary regional protocol for the environmental, economic, and social sustainability of the production process.
