The towers of the city of Siena are the backdrops of the estate\u2019s vineyards located high on the north slope of the hill of Montalcino. The vineyards are at 400 meters and extend to the walls of the town. This is an area where grapes have been cultivated since the times of the Etruscans.<\/p>\n
Alessandro Mori\u00a0owner\/winemaker said that he grows only Sangiovese grapes and follows a biodynamic approach to cultivation (although not certified), always abiding by the strict Montalcino regulations.\u00a0 No herbicides are used on the plants.<\/p>\n
