The Monfalletto estate has over six centuries of history.<\/p>\n

Once belonging to the noble Falletti family, it is now owned by Giovanni Cordero di Montezemolo and his family.<\/p>\n

The winery is located in the fabulous Langhe territory, at the heart of Barolo country, renowned for producing the wines that have made Piedmont famous throughout the world.<\/p>\n

Continuous research and experimentation with modern winemaking techniques, respect for the environment and the biodiversity of the territory are the values that constantly guide this estate.<\/p>\n

Cordero di Montezemolo wines have been exported and appreciated worldwide over the years. It perfectly represents the reality of the Barolo region.<\/p>\n

BAROLO MONFALLETTO<\/a> ORGANIC 2022<\/h2>\n

The great wine, which many call a Work of Art, is nonetheless the work of nature, the work of the sun, the climate, and the soil.<\/p>\n

These words could provide the complete definition of Barolo, a unique and inimitable wine that finds its chosen land in the Langhe.<\/p>\n

A true gem that combines strength and grace at the same time, with precious and complex taste-olfactory sensations that are truly unique.<\/p>\n

– Tasting Notes and Info –<\/h3>\n

Vinification<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each vineyard with uniform characteristics (exposure, age, soil, planting layout, clones…) is harvested and vinified separately.
\nThe entire maceration of 4\/5 days takes place in stainless steel tanks, as does the completion of fermentation for the following 10\/12 days. The wine is then transferred to barrels of various sizes and types where it undergoes malolactic fermentation.<\/p>\n

Aging<\/strong><\/p>\n

All the various lots undergo an aging period in various types of wood, French and Slavonian, for a period between 18 and 24 months, after which the final blending and bottling takes place. One year later, the bottles are ready for release.<\/p>\n

Tasting Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Intense garnet, on the nose it reveals perfectly blended floral and spicy sensations: tobacco, cherry in spirit, cocoa, and fresh raspberry in evidence; on the palate it presents itself as rich, full-bodied, and elegant.<\/p>\n

Wine Aging Potential<\/strong><\/p>\n

A long-lived wine that matures slowly and steadily in the bottle.
\nGreat expressions even after several decades. Eternal.<\/p>\n

An aristocratic wine that finds ideal pairing with game and wild game, hare in civet, braised beef, chamois, saddle of venison, wild boar, deer, and partridge.
