The Estate<\/h2>\n

Bruno Giacosa was a winemaker of immense sensitivity. His success was born from an immense talent for transforming grapes supplied by other owners into some of the finest Barolo and Barbaresco ever produced.<\/p>\n

Azienda Agricola Falletto was born from this man’s genius. After beginning to assist his grandfather in the cellar, he purchased the “Falletto” vineyard in Serralunga d’Alba in 1982. In 1966, Bruno also acquired the Barbaresco vineyards “Asili” and “Rabaj\u00e0”. Today the estate comprises twenty hectares extending across the municipalities of Serralunga d’Alba, La Morra and Barbaresco.
\nBruno Giacosa always maintained with absolute conviction that great wine is born in the vineyard. Thus, he always chose to respect nature’s rhythms to the fullest, without forced interventions, but simply accompanying the vine and allowing it to defend itself and grow optimally.<\/p>\n

In the cellar, he followed a strongly conservative winemaking approach, aimed at respecting the work done in the vineyard to the fullest. This implies very low yields, three-week macerations in steel tanks, and aging in large French oak barrels for periods exceeding thirty months in some cases.
\nThe wines of Azienda Agricola Falletto all come from estate-owned vineyards and are vinified in their own cellars in Neive.
\nWines under the “Casa Vinicola Bruno Giacosa” label, however, come from grapes purchased from trusted suppliers and are vinified in the estate’s cellars.<\/p>\n

He was one of the wine figures who most elevated the names of Barolo and Barbaresco worldwide.<\/p>\n
