{"id":48990,"date":"2026-03-17T06:46:02","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T05:46:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fonsvinum.com\/?post_type=product&#038;p=48990"},"modified":"2026-03-17T06:53:33","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T05:53:33","slug":"castello-dei-rampolla-sammarco-2020","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/fonsvinum.com\/en\/product\/castello-dei-rampolla-sammarco-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"CASTELLO DEI RAMPOLLA Sammarco 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><a href=\"https:\/\/fonsvinum.com\/en\/?s=CASTELLO+DEI+RAMPOLLA&amp;post_type=product\">CASTELLO DEI RAMPOLLA<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/fonsvinum.com\/en\/?s=Sammarco&amp;post_type=product\">Sammarco<\/a> 2020<\/h1>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.castellodeirampolla.it\/\">CASTELLO DEI RAMPOLLA<\/a> &#8211; THE HISTORY<\/h2>\n<p>The land on which the Castello dei Rampolla farm stands has been owned by the family since 1739.<\/p>\n<p>Much history has passed over these lands, but that of our family starts in the mid-1960\u2019s with the dream of one man, Alceo di Napoli Rampolla, who wished to create a great wine.<\/p>\n<p>In 1975 our first bottles of Chianti Classico were produced.<\/p>\n<p>This was a time when Chianti Classico was struggling to assert itself and to earn the respect it deserved.<\/p>\n<p>Alceo then had an intuition and decided, with the help of a great winemaker Giacomo Tachis , to be the first in the area to plant Cabernet Sauvignon and to blend it with Sangiovese.<\/p>\n<p>This was the first of the Castello dei <a href=\"https:\/\/fonsvinum.com\/?s=RAMPOLLA&amp;post_type=product\">Rampolla<\/a> revolutions, only a few years after the farms birth.<\/p>\n<p>Fascinating berry, incense and floral aromas.<\/p>\n<p>Full-bodied, with silky tannins.<\/p>\n<p>Really kicks in on the fresh, bright finish<\/p>\n<h2>SAMMARCO<\/h2>\n<h3>The cellar<\/h3>\n<p>All operations in the cellar are geared to preserving the original quality of the grapes.<\/p>\n<p>It is only by working in this way that we can infuse our wine with the distinctive character of the land.<\/p>\n<p>We harvest manually.<\/p>\n<h3>The vineyards<\/h3>\n<p>For those who work in biodynamic agriculture, every creature of the Earth and Air is important.<\/p>\n<p>This includes those which many consider to be superfluous or even hostile: flowers, grass and insects.<\/p>\n<p>On our land the grass is left to grow freely, and sometimes even sown, so as to shade the soil and to retain the moisture, as well as to prevent erosion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CASTELLO DEI RAMPOLLA Sammarco 2020 CASTELLO DEI RAMPOLLA &#8211; THE HISTORY The land on which the Castello dei Rampolla farm stands has been owned by the family since 1739.
