Our history. The beginning.<\/h3>\n

When\u00a0Vittorio<\/strong>\u00a0Frescobaldi<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 in the early Nineties \u2013\u00a0met\u00a0Robert\u00a0Mondavi<\/strong>, they gave life to a new chapter in the history of the\u00a0great Tuscan wines<\/strong>, in the history of\u00a0fine wines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From that meeting, came Luce. It all started from the desire to make a dream come true: create\u00a0excellent wines from Tuscany\u00a0<\/strong>in a particularly suitable terroir,\u00a0Montalcino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

An ambitious project called Luce della Vite, a tribute to this primary element that gives warmth, energy, and life: in nature, nothing would exist without light.<\/p>\n

Over the years,\u00a0Tenuta Luce<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0honoured this vision and became a cradle where\u00a0exclusive wines\u00a0<\/strong>are born, wines that earned a widespread, international appreciation among the\u00a0great wines from Tuscany<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

From one generation to the other, the baton was given to\u00a0Lamberto Frescobaldi<\/strong>, son of Vittorio.<\/p>\n

Under his direction,\u00a0Tenuta Luce<\/strong>\u00a0della Vite<\/strong>\u00a0has further strengthened the universe of expertise and knowledge, of discipline respectful of the rhythms of nature, of high quality oenological work thanks to which the fruits of the vines are transformed into\u00a0excellent wines from Tuscany<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

LUCE BRUNELLO\u00a0<\/a><\/h2>\n

Of the 88 hectares of vineyards owned by\u00a0Luce della Vite, 11 are registered in the Albo del\u00a0Brunello di Montalcino.<\/p>\n

This is where the Sangiovese for\u00a0Luce Brunello\u00a0is born. This wine is our tribute to this excellent wine born in\u00a0Montalcino\u00a0in the second half of the 19th Century. It was the first wine in Italy to achieve, in 1980, the Denominazione d\u2019Origine\u00a0Controllata e Garantita. Today it\u2019s one of the emblems of\u00a0fine wines made in Italy.
\nLuce Brunello di Montalcino\u00a0thus continues a journey of the highest quality inspired by this unique territory and the great wines that are born here.<\/p>\n

-Vintage 2020-<\/h3>\n

Frescobaldi’s Luce Brunello 2020 is a Brunello di Montalcino with a sunny profile, aromatically rich and ripe, born from a terroir characterized by a continental climate with almost Mediterranean influences. In the glass, it displays an intense ruby \u200b\u200bred color. On the nose, it is complex and fragrant, with notes of ripe red fruit, supported by pleasant sensations of blond tobacco and exotic spices. On the palate, the wine is harmonious, rich, and well-structured, with silky tannins that, combined with its freshness, provide a very long finish.
