THE FAMILY – IL MARRONETO<\/a><\/h2>\n

The story of\u00a0Il Marroneto begins in 1974<\/strong>, in two small rooms in a historical building dated in 1246. An ancient dryer for chestnuts, where the Mori family starts, a little \u2018for fun and a bit\u2019 for passion, to produce the Brunello. Few bottles, the purpose of which was to translate into scents and flavors that culture of \u201cmaking wine\u201d, that still was not the prerogative of a business, but only an expression of a land, a tradition and a wonderfully generous nature. That\u2019s when \u201cplay with wine\u201d becomes more than a game:\u00a0a deep passion, a common thread that guides the choices of Alessandro<\/strong>. Who decides, in the 90s, to expand the cellar of Il Marroneto, realizing that idea that shies away from logic dictated by aesthetics\u00a0tout-court<\/em>\u00a0but that binds tightly to those principles, in fact very simple and immediate, that \u201cgood practice\u201d of making wine requires.<\/p>\n

A large and austere environment, inserted into a stony slope, guards on the inside large oak barrels from Allier and Slavonia. In this large barrels the Brunelli wines from Il Marroneto seasoned patiently, and a little heart, hidden in the depths, where the historical bottles are waiting patiently the passing of time.<\/p>\n

BRUNELLO<\/a> DI MONTALCINO<\/h2>\n

Our classical Brunello, sangiovese 100% made absolutely following the traditional style. This is the historical wine of the farm elegant and in the same time structured. It burns from a vnification whose aim is to fix as much as possible the perfumes of sangiovese, so even the typicality of the territory.
\nFantastic for moments of relax.<\/p>\n

Terrain:<\/strong>\u00a0coarse sand and mixed with various minerals
\nAltitude:<\/strong>\u00a0400 mt a.s.l. Wine training system: spurred cordon
\nVinification:<\/strong>\u00a0in steel tanks constantly stirred for the first 2 days, the temperature rises till 33\/34 degrees after 5\/6 hours. The fermentation lasts around 11\/12 days.
\nRefinement:<\/strong>\u00a0aged in25 quintals oak barrels for 39 months. It becomes Brunello after 5 years, also considering 10 months refinement in the bottle.<\/p>\n
