Our history. The beginning.<\/h3>\n

When\u00a0Vittorio<\/strong>\u00a0Frescobaldi<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 in the early Nineties \u2013\u00a0met\u00a0Robert\u00a0Mondavi<\/strong>, they gave life to a new chapter in the history of the\u00a0great Tuscan wines<\/strong>, in the history of\u00a0fine wines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From that meeting, came Luce. It all started from the desire to make a dream come true: create\u00a0excellent wines from Tuscany\u00a0<\/strong>in a particularly suitable terroir,\u00a0Montalcino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

An ambitious project called Luce della Vite, a tribute to this primary element that gives warmth, energy, and life: in nature, nothing would exist without light.<\/p>\n

Over the years,\u00a0Tenuta Luce<\/strong>\u00a0honoured this vision and became a cradle where\u00a0exclusive wines\u00a0<\/strong>are born, wines that earned a widespread, international appreciation among the\u00a0great wines from Tuscany<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Sun, warmth, life. This is the story of Luce.<\/h3>\n

From one generation to the other, the baton was given to\u00a0Lamberto Frescobaldi<\/strong>, son of Vittorio.<\/p>\n

Under his direction,\u00a0Tenuta Luce<\/strong>\u00a0della Vite<\/strong>\u00a0has further strengthened the universe of expertise and knowledge, of discipline respectful of the rhythms of nature, of high quality oenological work thanks to which the fruits of the vines are transformed into\u00a0excellent wines from Tuscany<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

LUCE<\/a><\/h2>\n

It was thanks to the collaboration of the Marchesi de\u2019 Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi Families that came the idea of matching the roundness and softness of Merlot, whose vineyards were planted in these plots since the 1970s, with the elegance and structure of Sangiovese.<\/p>\n

Since 2005, Lamberto Frescobaldi is completely responsible for this project. He continues to write the history of Luce, a Super Tuscan wine appreciated all around the world, directing the production with great passion; from the vineyard to the making of each year\u2019s blends.<\/p>\n

-Vintage 2017-<\/h3>\n

Twenty-five vintages have been released, since Luce found its \u201chome\u201d in Montalcino. Today, as then, the values on which its story is based are the same. It\u2019s on these pillars that we\u2019ve given life, vintage after vintage, to a unique wine.<\/p>\n

-Tasting notes: vintage 2017-<\/h3>\n

The wine displays an intense, almost impenetrable, ruby red color. On the nose, the wine introduces itself with intense red fruits and subtle hints of incense and spicy notes that bequeath extraordinary complexity. In the mouth, the bouquet\u2019s complexity comes alive through elegant tannins that gift the wine with unique balance and structure.<\/p>\n
