For 700 years the Frescobaldi family has combined tradition, experience and innovation with creativity and the pursuit of excellence. The family has always looked to develop and celebrate the diversity of Tuscany\u2019s terroir, being proud owners of some of the greatest vineyards in this region.<\/p>\n

They always seek to maintain the identity and autonomy of each property.<\/p>\n

ORNELLAIA, perceived as one of the world\u2019s iconic wineries, has flourished under the Frescobaldi family\u2019s ownership. It is just one of the estates owned by the family alongside ATTEMS (Friuli), MASSETO, DANZANTE, LUCE DELLA VITE and the six FRESCOBALDI Estates, Nipozzano, CastelGiocondo, Pomino, Ammiraglia, Castiglioni and Remole.<\/p>\n

Our production philosophy revolves around Ornellaia\u2019s obsession with excellence \u2013 at all levels. Every choice we make is of absolute importance and implies an all-consuming attention to detail. At no point in the production process are shortcuts allowed or tolerated, and this is how we succeed harvesting grapes that are of the very highest quality irrespective of the climatic conditions in that particular year.<\/p>\n

    ARTIST LABEL 2018 “LA GRAZIA”<\/h2>\n

    For the 13th<\/sup>\u00a0edition of Ornellaia Vendemmia d\u2019Artista, Jan Fabre interprets the character \u201cLa Grazia\u201d (Grace) of Ornellaia 2018, chosen to describe the sense of symmetry, proportion and harmony expressed in the nobility of the wines. The artist has created a site-specific masterpiece for the Estate, a limited series of 111 large-sized bottles and a series of 10 labels for the 750 ml bottle, the first of which is contained in each case of 6 bottles.<\/p>\n

    Jan Fabre is a Belgian artist and one of the most innovative and versatile personalities in the contemporary international art scene. He is certainly eclectic and someone constantly searching for bridges between different disciplines. Thanks to this undertaking, he gives fresh interpretations to the world of visual art, theatre and literature.
