{"id":29848,"date":"2021-02-23T11:21:40","date_gmt":"2021-02-23T10:21:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fonsvinum.com\/?post_type=product&#038;p=29848"},"modified":"2021-02-23T12:10:17","modified_gmt":"2021-02-23T11:10:17","slug":"speri-santurbano-amarone-2016","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/fonsvinum.com\/en\/product\/speri-santurbano-amarone-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"SPERI Sant&#8217;Urbano Amarone 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><a href=\"https:\/\/fonsvinum.com\/en\/?s=SPERI&amp;post_type=product\">SPERI<\/a> Sant&#8217;Urbano <a href=\"https:\/\/fonsvinum.com\/en\/?s=AMARONE&amp;post_type=product\">Amarone<\/a> 2016<\/h1>\n<h2>SPERI<\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"vc_custom_heading vc_custom_1549287371004\">-A matter of teamwork-<\/h3>\n<div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_inner vc_row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6\">\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner vc_custom_1537949657023\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>The Speri Winery, one of the historical families of Valpolicella, is an authoritative and faithful interpreter of Valpolicella Classica wines that has become, due to its uninterrupted traditions and strong territorial roots, a landmark in Italian winemaking.<\/p>\n<p>The history of Cantina Speri begins in the first half of the 1800s&#8230; Today it has reached its seventh generation making wine from about\u00a060 hectares of vineyards in the most select Valpolicella Classica areas.<br \/>\nSperi&#8217;s winery strength has always been, and still is, a matter of teamwork, today engaging three generations \u2013 Carlo, Alberto, Giampaolo, Giampietro, Laura, Chiara, Luca and Giuseppe \u2013 that manage all stages of production activities, from the vineyard to the bottle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-6\">\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner vc_custom_1537949667673\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p><strong>In 2015, after practicing years of sustainable farming, the Winery achieved organic certification for all of the production.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Speri family, respecting its territorial heritage,\u00a0has always cultivated exclusively the native grape varieties of the Valpolicella zone\u00a0(Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara and other indigenous varieties),\u00a0making wine only from grapes coming from its own vineyards and itself overseeing the entire production process.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA SANT&#8217;URBANO<\/h2>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cWhen tradition is the fruit of decades of experience and stylistic integrity is an indispensable value\u201d.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The Speri family, if Amarone della Valpolicella is the latest born of Valpolicella wines,\u00a0is one of the oldest wineries to produce this wine. And the Winery has always focused its greatest efforts here.<br \/>\nSperi produces a single Amarone, Amarone docg Classico Sant\u2019Urbano.<br \/>\nGrapes are harvested exclusively by hand, and carefully graded to select only loosely clustered bunches; those that have the best characteristics for long natural drying on racks.<\/p>\n<h3>-Fruit sheds-<\/h3>\n<p>The Winery has three fruit sheds located in hill or foothill zones with good natural ventilation for mold-free drying and maintenance of the organoleptic properties of the grapes.
