Marchesi di Gresy<\/a><\/h1>\n

Situated in the Commune of Barbaresco at Martinenga, south\u00a0facing exposure at 280 m a.s.l., Camp Gros Martinenga\u00a0Barbaresco takes its name from the vineyards.
\nThe perfect exposure, the microclimatic complexity and the particular conformation of the land – rich in tuff and blue mares of Langhe – give the wines produced here unparalleled harmony and elegance.<\/p>\n

In fact, within it have been identified two further selections: Gaiun and Camp Gros, which give life to the highest expressions of Martinenga.<\/p>\n

Cultivated varieties:<\/strong>\u00a0Nebbiolo, Barbera, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

The flagship of the Marchesi di Gresy estate has been produced since 1978 only in the best vintages and it is a selection that concerns a small part of the Martinenga vineyard towards Rabaj\u00e0.<\/p>\n

Vinification and ageing<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Vinification on skins: six\/seven days fermentation with floating cap at a controlled temperature; pumping over. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in full after the alcoholic fermentation. Aeging in stainless steel or cement for five months. Brief ageing in the bottle before release.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Colour:<\/strong> Brilliant ruby red of medium intensity.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Bouquet:<\/strong> Intense and persistent, fruity, reminiscent of raspberries, plum, sour black cherry, cherry jam.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Taste:<\/strong> Fresh, lively, balanced and harmonius; pleasently tannic on the palate with persistent aftertaste.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Food pairing<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

The delicacy and slight spiciness make it a very versatile wine. Ideal with grilled food, white and red meats, and medium aged cheeses. Pairs well even with fish.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
