Our\u00a0family<\/b>\u00a0represents the heart of all our activities. Five generations of people who devoted their lives to wine have instilled in our souls a deep respect for the identity of our territory and a firm characterization of our products. What we want to offer is simply the interpretation of a\u00a0terroir<\/b>\u00a0through our deep rooted beliefs. Our wines never look for inconditional approval and our personality is not prone to easy compromise.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0“Poderi Aldo Conterno”<\/b>\u00a0winery is situated in\u00a0Bussia<\/b>\u00a0of Monforte d’Alba which is the heart of the\u00a0Barolo<\/b>\u00a0wine area.<\/p>\n
The estate, which vinifies exclusively its own grapes, consists of 25 hectares of vineyard.<\/p>\n
Most of the soil, which is at an altitude of 350 – 400 m. above the sea level, is located South \/ South – West and is composed of clayey marls and limestone with layers of sand.<\/p>\n
The yields per hectare are very low and the total production is about 80.000 bottles a year.<\/p>\n
The harvest begins in mid September and done exclusively by hand with a very careful\u00a0selection<\/b>\u00a0of the picked grapes.<\/p>\n
Always following a strict family\u00a0tradition<\/b>, red wines are neither clarified nor filtered.<\/p>\nBUSSIA BAROLO<\/h2>\n
