Our history. The beginning.<\/h3>\n

When\u00a0Vittorio<\/strong>\u00a0Frescobaldi<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 in the early Nineties \u2013\u00a0met\u00a0Robert\u00a0Mondavi<\/strong>, they gave life to a new chapter in the history of the\u00a0great Tuscan wines<\/strong>, in the history of\u00a0fine wines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From that meeting, came Luce. It all started from the desire to make a dream come true: create\u00a0excellent wines from Tuscany\u00a0<\/strong>in a particularly suitable terroir,\u00a0Montalcino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

An ambitious project called Luce della Vite, a tribute to this primary element that gives warmth, energy, and life: in nature, nothing would exist without light.<\/p>\n

Over the years,\u00a0Tenuta Luce<\/strong>\u00a0honoured this vision and became a cradle where\u00a0exclusive wines\u00a0<\/strong>are born, wines that earned a widespread, international appreciation among the\u00a0great wines from Tuscany<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Sun, warmth, life. This is the story of Luce.<\/h3>\n

From one generation to the other, the baton was given to\u00a0Lamberto Frescobaldi<\/strong>, son of Vittorio.<\/p>\n

Under his direction,\u00a0Tenuta Luce<\/strong>\u00a0della Vite<\/strong>\u00a0has further strengthened the universe of expertise and knowledge, of discipline respectful of the rhythms of nature, of high quality oenological work thanks to which the fruits of the vines are transformed into\u00a0excellent wines from Tuscany<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

LUCE<\/h2>\n

Luce was the first\u00a0wine from Montalcino<\/strong>\u00a0made by blending Sangiovese and Merlot grapes. It was thanks to the collaboration of the Marchesi de\u2019 Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi Families that came the idea of matching the roundness and softness of Merlot with the elegance and structure of Sangiovese in the land of\u00a0Brunello di Montalcino<\/strong>, the worldwide\u00a0famous Italian wine<\/strong>\u00a0made strictly from Sangiovese grapes.<\/p>\n

Since 2002, Lamberto Frescobaldi is completely responsible for this project. In the land of\u00a0Brunello di Montalcino<\/strong>\u00a0he continues to write the history of Luce, a\u00a0Super Tuscan<\/strong>\u00a0wine<\/strong>\u00a0appreciated all around the world. In his work, he continues to unite the tradition of Sangiovese, a typical local grape variety, with the innovation of Merlot, first introduced in Montalcino in the Seventies.<\/p>\n
