With vineyards extending for 45 hectares on the hills of Langhe and Monferrato, Tenute Cisa Asinari dei Marchesi di Gr\u00e9sy is a landmark of piedmontese winemaking, with roots tracing back to the XVIII century.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

We craft fine wines, always elegant and able to enhance a variety of experiences: from great celebrations, to everyday life.<\/div>\n

Passion, but most of all respect for tradition, nature and varietal.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Wines of the highest qualitative level that don’t over-power, but astonish for their extreme elegance and complexity.
\nWe want to transfer to the bottle the unique class of our vineyards, with all the nuances our terroir is able to express.
\nTherefore most of our efforts are concentrated in taking the best care of the vineyards.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Winemaking must not alter the work done in the vineyards, but has to complete it, enhancing the natural predisposition and identity of each grape.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Vinification and ageing<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Vinification on skins<\/strong>: eight\/ten days fermentation with floating cap followed by twenty\/thirty days maceration with submerged cap; daily pumping over. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in full at a controlled temperature after the alcoholic fermentation. Aeging in French barriques for twelve months and Slavonian oak casks for twelve more months. Further ageing in the bottle before release.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Tasting notes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

  • Colour<\/strong>: Bright garnet red with light orange reflections.<\/li>\n
  • Bouquet:<\/strong> Intense notes of plum and cherry sinuously blend with balsamic nuances of mint, tea leaves, dried flowers and gold-leaf tobacco.<\/li>\n
  • Flavor:\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>The fine and elegant tannic structure, in constant balance with the pulp and the mentholated freshness of the finish, give fullness and harmony to the wine.<\/span>\n
