PODERI ALDO CONTERNO<\/h2>\n

The\u00a0“Poderi Aldo Conterno”<\/b>\u00a0winery is situated in\u00a0Bussia<\/b>\u00a0of Monforte d’Alba which is the heart of the\u00a0Barolo<\/b> wine area.<\/p>\n

The estate, which vinifies exclusively its own grapes, consists of 25 hectares of vineyard.
\nMost of the soil, which is at an altitude of 350 – 400 m. above the sea level, is located South \/ South – West and is composed of clayey marls and limestone with layers of sand.
\nThe yields per hectare are very low and the total production is about 80.000 bottles a year.<\/p>\n

The harvest begins in mid September and done exclusively by hand with a very careful\u00a0selection<\/b>\u00a0of the picked grapes.<\/p>\n

Always following a strict family\u00a0tradition<\/b>, red wines are neither clarified nor filtered.<\/p>\n

Barbera d’Alba “Conca Tre Pile” by Aldo Conterno<\/strong><\/em> is a red full bodied Piedmont wine from Langhe, especially from a steeply sloping part of the Bussia Soprana hill in Monforte d’Alba. It has an earthy flavor, spice fragrances, silky violets, interesting persistent and big fruit flavors.<\/div>\n
