Domenico Clerico has been one of the greatest innovators in the Italian wine world, a long and constant task, everything focused on enhancing the qualities of Barolo with the philosophy and passion that has always guided him and moreover he has been able to skifully convey this to those who have followed in his footsteps.<\/p>\n

Each vineyard has its own characteristic<\/h3>\n

“My only goal as a winemaker must be to highlight the potential of our land. Here each vineyard has its own particular characteristic. I want to express this as best as I can in my wines.”<\/p>\n

BAROLO CIABOT MENTIN<\/h2>\n

The first flag planted by Domenico in Ginestra and the first wine with which he made himself acknowledged in the world. One of the wines that in the last 30 years have made the history of the denomination in its entirety.<\/p>\n

The “Ciabot” is situated in Monforte d’Alba and is a part of the vineyard on broom takes its name from a small country house (Ciabot) that was owned prior to its purchase in 1981, brothers and Flower mint. The soil is\u00a0rich<\/span>\u00a0in limestone and clay and its proximity to Serralunga seems to give the wine its own balsamic tones and the same minute, but pleasantly\u00a0harsh<\/span>\u00a0tannins typical of this common crus and what makes them so different from the other cru villages “Monfortino.<\/div>\n
