The winter season saw\u00a0 rather low temperatures and some snowfall.\u00a0Excellent weather conditions in spring, with mild temperatures. Warm and sunny weather in June and July, with occasional rainfall, allowing for the veraison process to set in early. August, instead, was quite cold with average temperatures around 24\u00b0C and heavy rainfall in mid-August. Some rain in September as well, but the sea breeze dried the bunches up quickly. Owing to the good job done in the vineyards, we harvested ripe and healthy grapes with good polyphenolic potential.<\/p>\n

The winery only works with their own grapes, which come from vineyards that have been scrupulously selected over the years, now totally 64 acres located in various areas of the appellation.<\/p>\n
In essence, Le Macchiole\u2019s team has created a mosaic of vineyards that together form a beautiful picture.<\/p>\n
The various small plots with unique qualities bring different nuances to the wines.<\/p>\n
