FERDINANDO PRINCIPIANO<\/a><\/h2>\n

Um zu verstehen, wer Ferdinando Principiano ist, m\u00fcsste man den Bauernhof besuchen, auf dem er in Monforte d\u2019Alba geboren und aufgewachsen ist. Er liegt genau an der s\u00fcdlichen Grenze des Barolo-Gebiets, direkt gegen\u00fcber den Cru-Lagen Ravera und Le Coste. Die Landschaft ist fantastisch, die Vegetation \u00fcppig und stellenweise wild.<\/p>\n

Der Hof liegt wirklich mitten im Nirgendwo: \u201eIch bin hier aufgewachsen und habe meine Tage allein inmitten der Natur verbracht \u2013 hier nannten sie mich Tarzan.\u201c<\/p>\n

Ferdinando PRINCIPIANO Barolo del Comune di Serralunga 2022. Die Leidenschaft, mit der Ferdinando von dieser Gegend erz\u00e4hlt, und die Sorgfalt, die er ihr entgegenbringt, zeigen sich in jeder noch so kleinen Geste. Heute leitet Ferdinando einen Betrieb von etwa 15 Hektar.<\/p>\n

Bei einem Rundgang durch die Weinberge beeindruckt die gro\u00dfe Aufmerksamkeit, die er den Reben widmet \u2013 eine \u00e4u\u00dferst gewissenhafte Pflege, bei der er nach gr\u00f6\u00dftm\u00f6glicher Nat\u00fcrlichkeit strebt. Er experimentiert st\u00e4ndig, um den Einsatz selbst jener Mittel zu verringern, die im biologischen Anbau erlaubt sind: Kupfer und Schwefel.<\/p>\n

Ferdinando erkl\u00e4rt, dass der Schl\u00fcssel zum Verst\u00e4ndnis seiner Weine in dem Umstand liegt, dass seine Weinberge in dieser Grenzregion des Barolo liegen.<\/p>\n

Zun\u00e4chst einmal ist die Biodiversit\u00e4t, wie bereits erw\u00e4hnt, wirklich einzigartig.<\/p>\n

\u201eF\u00fcr mich ist das, was diese Gegend umgibt \u2013 auch au\u00dferhalb der DOCG-Grenzen \u2013, genauso wichtig wie meine eigenen Weinberge. Nat\u00fcrlich k\u00f6nnte ich ohne die Reben keinen Barolo herstellen, aber das Umfeld ist ebenso bedeutend und erkl\u00e4rt, was meinen Wein ausmacht.\u201c<\/p>\n

Ein zweiter Schl\u00fcssel zum Verst\u00e4ndnis der Weine aus diesem Gebiet ist die H\u00f6henlage.<\/p>\n

\u201eHier liegt der Talboden 100 Meter h\u00f6her als in Cannubi; diese H\u00f6henlage verleiht den Weinen aus Monforte und Serralunga einen ganz eigenen Charakter.\u201c<\/p>\n

Und schlie\u00dflich: der Boden. \u201eDies ist ein Gebiet mit \u201awei\u00dfer Erde\u2018 \u2013 der Kalkgehalt im Boden ist hier sehr hoch.\u201c<\/p>\n

Es gibt zahlreiche Barolo-Varianten aus verschiedenen Einzellagen (Cru): Ravera, Boscaretto und Pian Romualda. Hinzu kommen gro\u00dfartige Interpretationen weiterer Rebsorten aus der Langhe-Region: Dolcetto, Freisa und Barbera bei den Rotweinen sowie Timorasso bei den Wei\u00dfweinen. Auch eine h\u00f6chst originelle Interpretation als Barbera-Spumante (Schaumwein) darf nicht fehlen. Die Weine von Ferdinando Principiano sind wie er selbst: authentisch, aufrichtig, unverf\u00e4lscht und dem Terroir verpflichtet.<\/p>\n

BAROLO del Comune di SERRALUNGA DOCG<\/h3>\n

Der Barolo \u201eSerralunga\u201c von Principiano ist eine der herausragenden Interpretationen des Nebbiolo, der im Gebiet von Serralunga d\u2019Alba angebaut wird. Ferdinando Principiano bezeichnet ihn als den \u201eunmittelbarsten\u201c seiner Barolo-Weine; Kritiker und Publikum sind sich jedoch einig, dass er eine einzigartige Komplexit\u00e4t und Ausdruckskraft besitzt.<\/p>\n

Der Barolo \u201eSerralunga\u201c wird nach traditionellen Methoden hergestellt \u2013 in jenem unverwechselbaren, pers\u00f6nlichen Stil, der Ferdinando Principiano ber\u00fchmt gemacht und als bedeutenden Interpreten dieses Terroirs etabliert hat. Die Trauben werden mit den F\u00fc\u00dfen gestampft und anschlie\u00dfend ausschlie\u00dflich mit wilden, weineigenen Hefen vergoren \u2013 ganz ohne Zugabe von Schwefeldioxid. Nach etwa einem Monat wird der Wein in F\u00e4sser mit einem Fassungsverm\u00f6gen von 20 bis 40 Hektolitern umgef\u00fcllt, in denen er vor der Abf\u00fcllung mindestens zwei Jahre lang reift.<\/p>\n
