CORDERO DI MONTEZEMOLO<\/a><\/h2>\n

Die Familie Cordero di Montezemolo hat uralte, feste Wurzeln in der Geschichte des Piemont, die aber mit der Produktion von Qualit\u00e4tswein eigentlich wenig zu tun haben.<\/em><\/p>\n

Die Familie war n\u00e4mlich spanischer Herkunft und kam erst um die\u00a0Mitte des 15. Jahrhunderts<\/strong>\u00a0ins Piemont: Sie zeichnete sich durch\u00a0grafische Fertigkeiten<\/strong>\u00a0aus und \u00fcbernahm bedeutende\u00a0milit\u00e4rische und diplomatische Aufgaben im Dienste des K\u00f6nigshauses Savoyen<\/strong>, bis sie zu einer der wichtigsten Adelsfamilien (Markgrafen<\/strong>) im Piemont wurde.<\/p>\n

Das\u00a0Weingut Monfalletto<\/strong>\u00a0geh\u00f6rte einem der verschiedenen Zweige der Familie\u00a0Falletti<\/strong>, der einflussreichsten Adelsfamilie in Alba und Umgebung. Die Geschichte der Falletti und der Cordero di Montezemolo wurden verbunden, als Maria Lydia, Tochter der Markgr\u00e4fin Luigia Falletti, 1918 Paolo Cordero di Montezemolo heiratete. Das Paar starb ungl\u00fccklicherweise fr\u00fch, hinterlie\u00df aber einen Sohn, der ebenfalls\u00a0Paolo<\/strong>\u00a0hie\u00df.<\/p>\n

Als sie 1941 starb, ging der ganze Besitz einschlie\u00dflich des wundersch\u00f6nen Guts Monfalletto in La Morra direkt als Erbe an den Enkel Paolo. Historische Dokumente belegen die bl\u00fchende, umfangreiche\u00a0landwirtschaftliche T\u00e4tigkeit auf dem Grundst\u00fcck<\/strong>, das sich auf einem einzigartigen H\u00fcgel in bevorzugter Lage erstreckt. Der Weinbau ist auf diesem H\u00fcgel seit \u00fcber 200 Jahren belegt.<\/p>\n

Der gro\u00dfe Wein, den viele als \u201cKunstwerk\u201d bezeichnen, ist ein Werk der Natur, er ist der Sonne, dem Klima, der Bodenbeschaffenheit und so weiter zu verdanken \u2013 um einen hochtrabenden, paradoxen Begriff zu verwenden, ist er ein Werk des Bodens.<\/em><\/p>\n

Produktionszone<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Historischer Wein dieses Guts, der durch sorgf\u00e4ltigen Verschnitt eines Gro\u00dfteils der Monfalletto-Lagen gewonnen wird. Das Alter der Rebst\u00f6cke zwischen 15 und 50 Jahren und die rigorose Ausrichtung zwischen S\u00fcdost und S\u00fcdwest tragen zu erlesenen Produktionen und harmonischer Reifung bei. Der lehmige, kaum kalkhaltige Boden verleiht Eleganz und Komplexit\u00e4t. Magnesiumoxid und Mangan im Boden f\u00f6rdern die Reifung von dichten, sehr weichen Tanninen. H\u00f6hen zwischen 250 und 300 m \u00fcdM.<\/p>\n

Weinbereitung<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Jeder Weinberg mit einheitlichen Eigenschaften (Ausrichtung, Alter, Boden, Pflanzabstand, Klone usw.) wird f\u00fcr sich gelesen und vinifiziert. Die ganze Maische steht 4-5 Tage ebenso wie die abschlie\u00dfende G\u00e4rung f\u00fcr die folgenden 10-12 Tage in Edelstahlwannen. Anschlie\u00dfend wird der Wein f\u00fcr die malolaktische G\u00e4rung bis Dezember in F\u00e4sser verschiedener Gr\u00f6\u00dfe und Art gef\u00fcllt.<\/p>\n

Lagerung<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Alle verschiedenen Partien werden f\u00fcr einen Zeitraum zwischen 18 und 24 Monaten in verschiedenen Holzarten \u2013 aus Frankreich und Slawonien \u2013 gelagert. Anschlie\u00dfend folgen der Endverschnitt und die Flaschenabf\u00fcllung. Nach einem Jahr Reifung sind die Flaschen bereit f\u00fcr den Handel.<\/p>\n

Organoleptische Eigenschaften<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Intensiv granatrot, zeigt an der Nase perfekt gemischte Blumen- und Gew\u00fcrznoten: Lakritze, in Alkohol eingelegte Kirschen, Kakao und frische Himbeere treten hervor; am Gaumen reich, f\u00fcllig und elegant.<\/p>\n

Durchschnittliche Haltbarkeit<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Langlebiger Wein, der langsam und konstant in der Flasche reift.
\nGro\u00dfe Ausdrucksf\u00e4higkeit auch nach mehreren Jahrzehnten. Ewig.<\/p>\n
